Wishing You A Merry Christmas: The Best Ways To Celebrate This Holiday With Family And Friends

wishing you a merry Christmas. The best way to celebrate

Section 1: Decorate your home

Decorating your home is one of the most exciting and pleasurable activities you can do this holiday season. Moreover, with the arrival of this special season, you’ll have enough time to save your money for an attractive and glamorous decoration. Do not forget to put up the wreath on the door, lights at every window, and pull the curtains to the side to let maximum light into the house. Additionally, replace the old flowers with fresh ones, and string the garland around the windows.

Section 2: Cheer up your kids.

Sending your kids to a holiday retreat or an after-school program is the best way to cheer them up and distract them from thoughts about the hectic Christmas holidays.

Shop for Christmas presents

Shopping for your loved ones will be one of the most cherished moments of the year. It can be a long and tiring process, but you have to make sure you don’t give up in your effort to find the perfect presents for them. You should know that although online shopping sites have made shopping easier and faster, it is not quite as hassle-free as one may think. There are a lot of things to take into consideration when buying gifts for family members, especially for someone like your child who is still very much into opening gifts at Christmas time. The classic idea of “you buy for everyone and they open it together” can have a downside.

Play Christmas music

And of course… Have a Merry Christmas!

Before you do any of those things, however, make sure you go see the classic animated film, “How The Grinch Stole Christmas”. The film has been screening regularly at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC, and features many renditions of this beloved Christmas classic.

And if you want to get in the spirit this holiday season, pop in this James Brown Christmas album. Now, that’s music to my ears!

If you want to send your holiday wishes directly to Santa Claus, here is the link to do that.

My blogger friend, Lindsay Merritt, just went to see Santa in Washington, D.C.

Give gifts to friends and family

Gift as a way of telling a friend that you love them, that you are thinking about them

Present them with a card telling them how much they mean to you and have in the year.

The card should be personal, and sincere, and also should be hand-delivered to their office or home. In-person, not by mail.

You can give something less expensive like coffee or tea, with a card saying you received their card and are thinking of them.

Present a framed family photo with a nice card thanking their families for being there, and wishing them a happy holiday.

My daughter did this for one of her boyfriends and it was so nice that he is now engaged.

Create holiday decorations

You can paint a wooden birdhouse or deco, as well as various holiday paintings and letters to hang on the walls of the home.

Put up the outside decorations

Light up the fireplace

Visit your loved ones

Eat lots of food!

Stuff your faces with delicious foods and see if you can fit into that extra pair of pants you bought for New Year's Eve. Besides, the food is free and everyone's going to eat it so why not indulge.

Bake lots of cookies!

This is the time to indulge in one of the most wonderful parts of the holiday season: cookies. Who doesn't love cookies, and there's no harm in making a little extra this year. You can use this baking time as a reminder of all the Christmas cookies you ate last year, and bring out the extra plate that will be placed next to you on the holiday table.

Spend quality time with your family and friends.

Get together with your family and loved ones, and spend time together. Go for a walk in the park with the kids, give your dog some company, and simply be a part of the crowd.

Have a white Christmas

The weather in many parts of the USA could reach as high as 35 to 40 degrees, just in time to celebrate Christmas with family and friends. In most parts of the country, the weather will be mild and sunshiny. Christmas dinner will be warm and Christmas is perfect for outdoor activities and dining outside.

Have a cocktail hour.

Christmas cocktail parties are big, especially in the Northeast, with places like Washington, D.C., and New York City getting into the festive mood. These cities are prime destinations for people visiting from warmer areas and experiencing winter without the cold.

Host your cocktail party or get together and celebrate the season while sharing laughter and love with friends.
